Generate Destination Lifestyle Images with Midjourney

1. Download Discord at discord.com or use the web version
2. Create a free Discord account or log in
3. Go to midjourney.com → click Sign In with Discord
4. Click Accept Invite to join the Midjourney server
5. At midjourney.com, click Sign In → go to your account dashboard → Manage Subscription → select {{tool:Midjourney.plan}} ({{tool:Midjourney.price}}) → complete payment

Alternative: Midjourney now has a web interface at midjourney.com/app — you can generate images directly in the browser without using Discord, which may be more intuitive for first-time users.

1. In the Midjourney web interface or Discord, type /imagine and your prompt
2. Start with this travel-specific template:

/imagine prompt: [scene description], travel photography style, photorealistic,
cinematic lighting, [time of day], [mood], no text --ar 16:9 --style raw

Example for an Italy proposal cover:

1. Press Enter — 4 image variations appear within 60 seconds
2. Click any image to preview it full size
3. Click U1/U2/U3/U4 to upscale the version you like best

Italy:

Greece:

For Instagram posts:

1. Download the upscaled image (right-click → Save image)
2. In Canva, open a new Instagram Post template
3. Upload the image as the background (Upload → drag to canvas → resize to fill)
4. Add a caption using Magic Write or your pre-generated captions
5. Post

For proposal cover images:

1. In Travefy or your proposal document, upload the image as the header/cover photo
2. In Google Docs or Word: Insert → Image → From computer
3. The aspirational lifestyle image sets the visual tone for the entire proposal

For website hero images:

1. Download at highest resolution
2. Upload to your Squarespace or Wix site's image library
3. Replace generic stock photos on your destination pages
