What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll have a repeatable process for generating vivid, engaging day-by-day itinerary narratives in 20–30 minutes — down from the 3–4 hours it takes to write them manually. You provide the structure and logistical skeleton; Claude writes the compelling prose that makes clients say yes.
What you'll need
Claude writes the narrative — you provide the bones. Before opening Claude, list out:
Even rough bullet points work: "Day 3: Positano. Breakfast at hotel terrace. Walk down to village beach. Lunch at Le Tre Sorelle. Afternoon boat trip to Capri. Dinner at La Sponda."

Set the context first:
I'm a travel advisor creating a trip proposal for [type of clients, e.g., a honeymoon couple, a family with 2 teenagers, a solo female traveler]. I need you to write vivid, exciting day-by-day itinerary descriptions that will make them want to book.
Style guidelines:
- Second person ("you'll...") speaking directly to the client
- Evocative and sensory — describe what they'll see, smell, hear, feel
- [Choose: Romantic and intimate / Adventurous and bold / Luxurious and relaxed / Family-friendly and fun]
- 100-150 words per day maximum
- No buzzwords like "world-class" or "breathtaking" — be specific instead
After setting context, paste your entire skeleton:
Write day-by-day narrative descriptions for this itinerary:
[Paste all your bullet points here]
Trip: [X]-day [destination] trip for [client type]
Arrival airport: [X]
Departure airport: [X]
Overall theme: [honeymoon / adventure / cultural immersion / relaxation]
Claude generates all days at once. Read through and:
Copy the finalized narratives into your itinerary builder (Travefy, Axus) or directly into your Word/Google Docs proposal template. Add your images, pricing, and booking details around the narrative content.
For adventure travel:
Style: adventurous and bold, second person, 100 words per day. No "world-class" or "breathtaking" — use specific details instead. [Paste skeleton]
For family travel:
Style: fun and age-appropriate for a family with [ages] kids. Include why each activity is great for this age group. Second person plural — "your family will..." 100-125 words per day. [Paste skeleton]
For solo female traveler:
Style: empowering and independent, practical but inspiring. Include safety-positive language and note where the destination is particularly welcoming to solo female travelers. Second person, 100 words per day. [Paste skeleton]
